The brief
Talentio Solutions India Private Limited required a set of engaging and professional thumbnails for their Design Thinking course, which would be used across digital platforms, such as course listings, social media, and advertisements. The goal was to create thumbnails that would stand out, capture attention, and convey the core essence of the Design Thinking process while maintaining alignment with Talentio’s overall branding. These thumbnails needed to effectively represent the course content and attract potential students by showcasing the innovative and practical nature of Design Thinking.
The thinking
The challenge was to design thumbnails that were visually appealing and distinctive, while also conveying the multi-faceted nature of the Design Thinking course. With so many educational platforms and courses competing for attention, it was important to create thumbnails that would resonate with potential students and compel them to learn more about the course. The design needed to balance clarity, professionalism, and creativity, ensuring that it stood out in both large course catalogs and smaller promotional ads. I started by revisiting Talentio’s brand guidelines to ensure consistency in color schemes, typography, and overall style. I brainstormed several design concepts that would reflect key aspects of Design Thinking such as problem-solving, innovation, and collaboration using visual elements like gears, light bulbs, abstract shapes, and icons that symbolize creativity and process. I kept the design simple yet striking, ensuring that the thumbnails would remain effective at smaller sizes. Each thumbnail design was carefully crafted to include the course title, engaging visuals, and bold, clean typography to grab the viewer's attention instantly. I tested different layouts, ensuring the design would be effective across multiple devices and digital platforms. The final designs were optimized for both desktop and mobile views, ensuring maximum impact regardless of where they were seen.
